A Moment of Silence for The Boston Globe

Please give a moment of silence to the victim of a recent tragedy: The Boston Globe. They are the victim of “censorship.” An innocent media vilified and banned for doing nothing other than it’s job…reporting the *cough* news.

Do we live in a world where the very fabric of the term ‘freedom of the press’ is slowly dying and withering away like The Boston Globe’s newspaper sales?

The journalists and pundits band together to say: No more! This is more than a business! This is more than hot takes and clickbait! This is about the very freedom of our democracy!

You shall not ban us!

All this for a photograph opportunity at private charity event, not a journalistic news story. Continue reading

Answering Bart Hubbuch’s Five Questions to Tom Brady

Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post had five questions for Tom Brady in his Sept. 4th article, ‘Fess up, Tom: 5 damning Delflategate questions Brady must answer’.

Just as Mr. Hubbuch refused to call in to WEEI’s Dennis and Callahan show because of this reason…

Hubbuch D and C

…it’s safe to say that Tom Brady probably has better things to do with his time than to answer Mr. Hubbuch’s supposedly five “damning” questions that could easily be answered by anyone who has followed the case.

Since Mr. Hubbuch expressed he is above going on radio shows that don’t get the ratings or clicks worthy of his presence, it would be a darn shame for Mr. Hubbuch to sit in the dark any longer with these mysterious questions: Continue reading

Do You Support Roger Goodell Over Tom Brady? Be Careful What You Wish For

in·teg·ri·ty
inˈteɡrədē/
noun
1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

2. a trigger word used by the NFL to justify a set up and a mass PR scandal which would eventually lead to an unprecedented punishment handed down by the NFL in order to gain complete power and authority by setting a legal precedent for players and/or teams facing punishment in the future.

There’s an old saying that aptly applies to those who want to see “justice” finally come down on the “Cheatriots”:

Be careful what you wish for. Continue reading

The NFL Tyrants Hiding Behind the Word Integrity

Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed. ~Joseph Stalin, former leader of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union

Joseph Stalin knows a thing or two about propaganda and shaping public opinion. Stalin didn’t get into a position of power by telling the masses the truth of his agenda. In fact, he hid behind words such as equality and fairness to the people. He shamed capitalism by telling the people how the rich exploit the poor.

If history has taught us anything, it is to always ask questions of one’s true agenda.

Those in any position of power are scariest when their agenda is not clear. Instead of honesty, these leaders hide behind positive words such as “integrity” to justify their tyranny. Roger Goodell and the front office leaders of the NFL are no exception. Continue reading

Don’t Forget the First Warrior Who Built This Town We Call Patriot Nation

So Robert Kraft is a sell out eh? If it weren’t for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, Kraft wouldn’t be rolling in the cash right? Hold on while I laugh out loud for a moment.

Okay, laughing complete. Commence disappoint with a dash of anger at my fellow Patriot fans who follow in line with the likes of Skip Bayless in thinking Kraft sold out his quarterback and the Patriots to the NFL for cold hard cash. Sorry, but I’m not buying the crap you or Skip are trying to sell. Kraft has more money than you or Skip could ever dream of (pre and post Patriot owner) and if you haven’t noticed, he isn’t the youngest of bucks any more.

Rich people like Darrelle Revis are about cold hard cash. Wealthy, savvy businessmen like Robert Kraft are interested in building things and making their mark on the world. You don’t destroy the house you built for one public battle you can’t win. Kraft could care less about one battle, he’ll take that bullet so long as he wins the war. Continue reading

No Matter How Hard You Try, You Will Never Destroy the Legacy of Tom Brady and the Patriots

Tom Brady isn’t finished, not by a long shot. By the time he’s done, there will be at least a fifth undisputed ring on his finger.

There will be no win he wants more than this one. He knows he doesn’t have another 10 years to get it. He’ll do everything in his power to make that happen, and he will become, without question, the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.

Enjoy the battle you have won. It won’t last. You haven’t won the war. Continue reading

The NFL Played You With a Deflated Ball…and Won

Based on the public outcry and the reaction from the first day that “deflategate” was born, the NFL knew you wouldn’t care about the full truth of what really happened prior to, during and shortly after the AFC championship game. They knew you wanted to see Tom Brady hang and you wanted the NFL to find proof. They knew the attention wouldn’t be on whether or not they are the true enforcers of the NFL shield, standing for integrity and justice. All you wanted to know was one thing: Was Tom Brady and the Patiots guilty of deflating footballs.

The NFL has spent millions of dollars for your public opinion and you fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Continue reading
